Hello, I'm Cynthia.
I’m really glad you’re here. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out you just have to show up as you are. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a strengths-based approach to help you move through life’s transitions with more clarity and confidence.
About Cynthia
Cynthia is a Mexican–Salvadoran American therapist who is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s transitions, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their sense of self.
She earned her Master’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a specialization in Child and Family Well-Being, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of California, Davis.
Clinical Approach
Cynthia takes a relational, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. She believes healing happens within the context of safety, trust, and genuine connection, and she works collaboratively with clients to support meaningful and sustainable change.
Her work is grounded in understanding how anxiety, uncertainty, and self-doubt can show up during major life transitions—especially when navigating cultural expectations, family dynamics, and identity development.
She incorporates an affirming and supportive style that helps clients feel both understood and empowered to take steps forward at their own pace.
Who She Works With
Cynthia specializes in working with:

Why She Does This Work
Cynthia grew up in a bicultural Mexican–Salvadoran household, which deeply informs her understanding of how culture, family values, and identity shape emotional experiences and personal growth.
She is committed to creating a space where clients feel seen in their full identity—not just as individuals, but within the context of their family, culture, and lived experiences.
She believes therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and human. Clients often describe her style as warm, grounded, and supportive, with a balance of insight, encouragement, and gentle humor when appropriate.
