Hello, I’m Gael.

I help children, teens, and men navigate stress, identity, and life transitions so they can feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally steady.

My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, with a focus on helping you make sense of your experiences and move forward with clarity.

    About Gael

Gael is a first-generation Chicano Mexican-American therapist who brings a deeply personal understanding of resilience, identity, and life transitions to his work with clients.

As the first in his family to leave home right after high school to begin pursuing his career, Gael developed a firsthand appreciation for the challenges, sacrifices, and strengths that shape immigrant and first-generation experiences. These lived experiences inform his grounded, relational, and culturally responsive approach to therapy.

    Clinical Approach

Gael’s work is rooted in a strengths-based and narrative-informed perspective, helping clients make meaning of their lived experiences and reconnect with their sense of purpose and direction.

He often uses the metaphor of the Harvest in his work—the idea that we must intentionally tend to the soil and seeds life places within us in order to cultivate a meaningful and fulfilling life. In therapy, this translates into helping clients understand what has shaped them, what patterns they’ve inherited, and what they want to grow moving forward.

Gael takes a collaborative and supportive approach, walking alongside clients as they explore their stories, build insight, and develop practical tools for change.

    Who He Works With

    Gael specializes in working with:

    • Children and adolescents navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges

    • Men working through stress, identity, emotional expression, and life transitions

    • First-generation and immigrant clients navigating cultural identity, family expectations, and responsibility

    • Individuals seeking clarity, direction, and emotional grounding during periods of change

He is especially passionate about supporting clients who feel they have had to “figure things out on their own” and are now ready to build a more intentional and fulfilling path forward.

    Why He Does This Work

Gael believes that every person carries a story shaped by their environment, culture, and lived experiences—and that healing begins when those stories are understood with compassion rather than judgment.

He is committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported as they work through challenges and reconnect with their inner strengths.

Clients often describe his style as warm, steady, and encouraging, with a focus on helping them move from feeling stuck toward feeling empowered and intentional in their lives.

    A Note on Fit

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. If you’re considering working with Gael, he welcomes you to reach out for a brief consultation to see whether it feels like a good fit for your needs and goals.
